STREET-MADE CONCEPT INSPIRED BY A COSMIC TURF

STREET CULTURE AND SIMPLE SELF-HAPPINESS OVER FINANCIAL SUCCESS

STREET CORE 219 is a celebration of intercultural and multi-social harmony, working-class determination, pop culture, sports passion, humility, and the pride of prioritizing happiness over wealth.

Going beyond mere status symbols, our watches embody the vibrant tapestry of everyday life, seamlessly blending cultural influences into a symphony of design. Rooted in the middle-class heartbeat, each piece tells a story of hard work, shared values, and the beauty found in diversity. We want to showcase self-consciousness and self-happiness over happiness based on financial success.

Infused with elements of pop culture, our watches resonate with the pulse of daily experiences, connecting wearers to a broader cultural narrative. What sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to humility—rejecting ostentation and focusing on the simplicity that speaks volumes, expressing joy in small moments and fostering genuine connections.

STREET-MADE DESIGN

EXPRESSING TURF, BLOCK, CONCRETE, BROTHERHOOD, SPORTS, STREET ART, HUMILITY,NATURE, MUSIC AND INTERCULTURAL ROOTS THROUGH A WATCH ERGONOMY

To develop a design that represents our urban culture and teenage memories, we sought inspiration from the contrasts between the monochrome tones of concrete and structures and the vibrant colors that emerged from the balcony awnings.

This is why our 47 mm case is ergonomically designed to express the dynamism of navigating through the building infrastructure (stairs, alleys, walls, columns, etc.) and the polychromatic transitions offered by the nature winding around the Lignon site.

A LOGO THAT EMBODIES STREET-MADE ETHICS

STREET CORE 219‘s logo  is a coat of arms which represents a part of Le Lignon’s building structure in a symmetrical finalisation. The four poles of its shape expresses our code of honor which is divided by four words such as RESILIENCE, AMBITION, CONSTANCY and DETERMINATION.

Based on a symmetry derived from a part of the structure as seen from above, STREET CORE 219‘s logo represents a geometric abstraction of this large architectural complex. When viewed from the sky, the linear and modular structure of the complex, with its buildings arranged in long curved lines, can be isolated to form the basis for a symmetrical pattern.

This logo could represent repeated or mirrored segments of the complex, creating a pattern that evokes the idea of continuity, repetition, and architectural harmony. The shapes used in the logo would likely be rectilinear, reflecting the contours of the buildings, with possible variations to indicate the curves and angles present in the original design. The symmetry of the logo would reflect the regularity and modularity of the Lignon’s construction, while simplifying these elements into a graphic symbol which speaks about respecting the 4 words that defines our code of honor.

STREET MADE’S ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY

There are no private investors or financial groups behind this project; everything is authentically created, developed, and manufactured independently and self-sufficiently. Therefore, we control the prices and can provide quality products through the traditional A to Z system approach.

STREE-MADE KNOW-HOW AND STREET MADE ORIGIN

FROM THE TURF TO THE END RESULT, WE STAY TUNED TO THE TURF

We aren’t just passionate about STREET CORE 219; we are possessed by it, consumed with an unwavering dedication. Alexandre Bugnon, an engineer specializing in high-complication watch movements, and Jean-Marc Bosque, a diamond business and watch case production expert, share an unwavering commitment to quality and perfection. For STREET CORE 219, we embarked on conceptualizing and developing a watch case and components adhering to traditional standards while offering subtle distinctions from other brands.

We chose not to follow the path of conventional watchmaking marketing. While we fully embrace the craft of watchmaking and its traditions, we decided to manifest our vision through financial independence and creative autonomy. Our creations are inspired by contemporary myths and our own “cosmic turf,” a way of saying that we draw from our unique universe. However, we express these inspirations by taking calculated risks, often going against the grain of mundane and fleeting trends.

So we decided to create our own label of origin the “STREET MADE“, even though our products could be “Swiss made.” They will be shipped from Switzerland regardless, with FEDEX, which is already a considerable guarantee of quality and secure shipment process.

As materials we use stainless steel and Titanium grade #5. Titanium (chemically, element 22, Ti), is a lightweight, corrosion-resistant metal, renowned for its strength and biocompatibility. Originally developed for military, medical and aerospace purposes, it has transitioned into luxury items like watches and sports equipment. Introduced in watchmaking during the 1970s and 1980s, titanium is now embraced by major watch brands. Its exceptional physical properties, including low density, corrosion resistance, hypoallergenic nature, and customizable coloration through anodisation, make it ideal for watch manufacturing. Being 60% lighter than steel contributes to its high-tech and premium material status in the industry.

To ensure wrist comfort and well-proportioned volume, we meticulously studied the diameter and thickness, settling on a diameter of 47 mm and a thickness of 11mm. All our items undergo development, finishing, and quality control entirely in Switzerland, guaranteeing precision and excellence.

THE SAPPHIRE GLASS

After diamond, corundum is the second hardest transparent material in the world. This means that sapphire glass, although it is lab-produced corundum, is extremely resistant to scratches and wear. Even after years of intensive use, the glass of your watch remains clear and intact, preserving both the readability and aesthetics of your timepiece. An anti-reflective coating has been applied to ensure comfort for your eyes when you are heavily exposed to sunlight. For the steel versions, the anti-reflective coating has not been applied in order to maintain a shine similar to the polished edges and angles of your watch.”

STREET-MADE QUALITY AND BACK TO BACK SUPPLY CHAIN

AN AFFORDABLE PRICE FOR A RELIABLE RESULT OFFERING TW0 YEARS OF GUARANTEE

Being self-sufficient in terms of investment and having chosen to sell directly to the final customer, we do not rely on distributors or retailers. With a limited marketing budget, we focus on the accessibility and visibility of social media to make ourselves known and to offer our products.

This process allows us to guarantee optimal quality and competitive prices, as we avoid a chain of intermediaries who, despite all the best intentions, primarily drive up the final price.

SWISS MADE MOVEMENTS

We use exclusively, at the moment, RONDA’s quartz movements. There Swiss made and very qualitative. Their are our external partner, specialist in creating, developing and produce quartz and mechanical movements. They even propose solar quartz movements, which is a

Here bellow is what RONDA explains about quartz movements:

What is a quartz movement and how does it work?

A quartz movement is also referred to as an electronic movement. A battery provides the energy needed to drive the gear wheels. These wheels move the hands or discs connected to them, thereby indicating the time, date, day, or other functions on a watch.
The movement consists of a battery, electronic circuits, and a quartz crystal. The battery sends an electric current through the quartz crystal, causing it to vibrate at a frequency of 32,768 kHz. The vibrations measured by the circuits are converted into a precise time signal, which in turn regulates the movement of the watch’s hands.

What are the advantages of quartz movements?

Quartz watches are highly appreciated because they are very accurate, require little maintenance, and bring joy to their owners for many years.
It is therefore not surprising that not only fashion labels but also renowned brands in the mid-price segment equip their models with our quartz movements.

How to measure the size of movements?

The size of a wristwatch movement is generally indicated by the number of “lignes” that measure the diameter of the movement. This is a French unit of measurement dating back to the 18th century, and one “ligne” equals 2.2558 millimeters.
Although this unit of measurement is still used today in the watchmaking industry, the diameter is often indicated in millimeters for easier understanding.

Ronda produces and markets movements for wristwatches. The ‘Swiss movement’ label is protected by ordinance. ”
