About StreetCore 219

Welcome to the Cosmic Turf Experience Where Time is Qualitative

We are a new watch brand entering the market, deeply inspired by our roots—a socio-cultural utopia located within one of the longest buildings in the world, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Rhône River and lush forests. This setting reflects the perfection of exploration, discovery, and the daily embrace of new experiences. Our identity is firmly “street made,” and so are our watch models.

Our designs tell a story of happiness, emphasizing the simple art of living in the moment and facing challenges with resilience rather than focusing on material wealth. Straddling urban and natural perspectives, we have honed our expertise within this fascinating contrast, constantly adapting to situations and seizing opportunities.

Our engineering philosophy is guided by a life motto: Resilience, Ambition, Constancy, and Determination.

We have envisioned, developed, and industrialized high-quality watches at highly accessible prices. Each design resonates with themes of mindfulness and timeless cultural values, offering more than just functionality—our watches embody a deeper narrative.

This project is entirely independent, with no private investors or financial groups involved. Every element of our brand, from concept to production, has been authentically created, developed, and manufactured with complete economic self-sufficiency.

We hope you will see your emotions and life choices reflected in these timepieces, crafted with utmost passion to share what we hold most dear in life: family, resourcefulness, outdoor adventures, and selflessness.

Le Lignon

The Turf – the Utopian Success of a Cosmic District

Le Lignon – Architectural & Cultural Landmark

Built in 1962 under the direction of architect Georges Ador and his associates (Jacques Boliger, Dominique Julliard, and Louis Payot), Le Lignon is Europe’s longest continuous building, and for a time, it was the longest in the world. Spanning 1,065 meters (Guinness World Record), bordered by a forest and surrounded by the Rhône River, it is now an UNESCO-classified monument, attracting architects from around the world.

Located in Geneva, the “City of Peace” and the global capital of watchmaking, Le Lignon is a symbol of urban ingenuity. More than just housing, it integrates green spaces, schools, churches, cultural centers, sports institutions, and a commercial hub, making it a “City within the City.”

It was also the birthplace of Vernier sur Rock, a legendary music festival (1983-2023) that hosted iconic bands such as Slayer, Sepultura, Faith No More, Motörhead, Radiohead, System of a Down, Placebo, and Björk, alongside countless local talents.

Within this multicultural ecosystem (192 nationalities), Alexandre and Jean-Marc dubbed Le Lignon a “Cosmic District”, giving birth to Street Core 219.

The Brand – Street-made Ethos

Streets Create Legends

Driven by the belief that “life happens outside and in the moment,” Alexandre and Jean-Marc see adversity as an opportunity for growth rather than an obstacle. The streets have their challenges, but they reward courage.

Growing up in the socio-urban context of Le Lignon, they learned that the street fosters intelligence and wisdom:n”The intelligent know how to solve problems; the wise know how to avoid them. »

The courtyards, cultural diversity, humility, and parental sacrifices created a generation of resilient and united individuals who found happiness in simplicity and gratitude in the present moment.

Street-made: Our Label of Origin

More than just a watch brand, STREET CORE 219 is a state of mind, celebrating intercultural harmony, working-class determination, pop culture, sports passion, and humility.

Our watches are not mere status symbols; they embody the energy of the streets, urban heritage, and the power of authenticity. We emphasize self-awareness and personal fulfillment through courage, rather than the illusion of financial success—it’s about being, not appearing.
Inspired by street culture, our creations reflect four fundamental values:

  • Resilience
  • Ambition
  • Perseverance
  • Determination

We chose to create our own “STREET-MADE” label, even though our products could qualify as “Swiss Made”, to define an independent and heterogeneous approach—never before associated with watchmaking.

It’s a pure DIY philosophy, deeply influenced by New York punk pioneers The Misfits (a major inspiration for Jean-Marc Bosque), while also embracing traditional Swiss watchmaking values—which, for Alexandre Bugnon, were born out of necessity and a pursuit of independence.

Design Rooted in Our Identity

The design of STREET CORE 219 visually expresses Turf culture, concrete, brotherhood, sports, street art, music, and intercultural roots.

Our watches draw inspiration from Le Lignon’s urban architectural and surroundings contrasts:

  • The firmness of the monochrome tones of concrete and raw structures
  • The vibrant flashes of balcony awnings and all around nature.

This is why our 47mm case was ergonomically designed to mirror movement through architectural spaces (stairs, alleys, walls, columns), while also capturing the polychromatic transitions offered by nature around Le Lignon.

Our influences extend from contemporary myths to our own “Cosmic Turf”—a unique universe where bold choices challenge fleeting trends. We also draw inspiration from American and Japanese comics, fueling our artistic vision and design philosophy.

Street Core 219 Logo Integration

A Logo That Embodies Our Code of Honor

The STREET CORE 219 logo is a geometric abstraction of Le Lignon, perfectly symmetrical on both the X and Y axes. It embodies our four core values, defining the “Knights of Le Lignon”:

  • Resilience
  • Ambition
  • Perseverance
  • Determination

This symbol reflects our commitment to industrial innovation and social harmony, while paying homage to Europe’s longest residential structure.

From Turf to Final Product: an Independent Production

We are not just passionate about STREET CORE 219—we are consumed by it.

Alexandre Bugnon – Founder and Watch Developper

Living life to the fullest means spending as much time outdoors as possible

Alexandre Bugnon is a passionated watch designer and inventor who grew up in the working-class neighborhood of Le Lignon, where his daily life was shaped by urban culture and sports.
He began his career in the machinery industry at Sécheron in 1999 as a machine draftsman.

He quickly developed a passion for finer mechanics, precision, and high-tech engineering. This led him to focus on micromechanics and watchmaking. After gaining extensive experience with innovative external developers (BNB Concept and La Fabrique du Temps), Alexandre Bugnon held various positions in research and development departments for prestigious brands (Franck Muller, Louis Vuitton, Montres DeWitt).

These experiences allowed him to design timepieces with complications for renowned manufacturers and to share his passion with professionals who contribute to the fame of this art. Throughout these years, he has worked on the development and production of new movements, as well as the expertise and improvement of existing movements.

Today, within STREET CORE 219, Alexandre Bugnon continues to pursue his passion by developing models that reflect the quality derived from the richness of experience and the inventiveness inspired by his high ambitions in watchmaking.

Jean Marc Bosque – Founder and Rock and Rolla

Having kids turns you into a billionaire in happiness.

Jean-Marc Bosque is a passionate multi-entrepreneur, a fierce musician, and a dedicated athlete, convinced that life’s adversities are challenges that fuel spiritual growth. He also believes that rejecting imagination and dreams under the pretense of being “down to earth” will inevitably turn life into a constant nightmare, where one drifts like a lost boat in an infinite ocean of monotony.

Born in Le Lignon and of Barcelona (Spain) origins, he explored various sports before focusing on football. However, his love for music led him to be a guitarist singer in punk and stoner-rock bands. Despite this artistic shift, he pursued academic excellence, earning a Master’s degree in General History and Spanish Philology.

An avid traveler, Jean-Marc alternated between teaching in public schools for six months and exploring North and South America for several years, deeply interested in Native American and Pre-Columbian cultures.
In 2003, he entered the gemstone trade on 47th Street in New York City , conducting sales across the East Coast, West Coast, and South Asian markets, including Hong Kong.

In 2010, he launched a Swiss-made apocalyptic watch brand, “219,” inspired by Mayan and Aztec influences, for which he obtained an exclusive patent (DM/075067).

By 2012, he expanded his business endeavors by becoming a FIFA football agent. From then on, he shifted his priorities, dedicating himself to starting a family and putting business on the back burner for several years.

Today, through STREET CORE 219, Jean-Marc channels his inspiration and imagination into creating watch models alongside Alexandre Bugnon with designs reflecting past experiences, contemplations of the future and a fundamental philosophy: “LIFE IS NOW.” Because, after all, true happiness lies in the ability to embrace the present moment.
